The only thing we knew about where to find Aitor was that there must be a market going on in Medano. Where exactly is the market? What is he selling? Is he there anyway? We left Sirmione and drove north to Alto Adige…or Süd Tirol…the province in Italy where people do speak German. We crossed into the Alpes and after 3 hours we parked our car near the huge Merano market…We both hate to walk in crowded areas, but for this occasion we dived into the crowd head first. Watching left, right…have we been to this aisle already? At the very last lane we finally found Aitor. Just great to meet with this amazing chap again, although it only was for half an hour.

Meeting Aitor

On this last full day we passed the Brenner highway, got our tank full in Innsbruck and ended up in Regensburg, Germany. Left another 600 km. behind us. On day 16 we honoured Regensburg with a short visit. We walked along the Danube river and the old town before driving away the last hundreds kilometers to Dresden where we meet up with the family.
