Arriving in Pakistan

After arriving in Islamabad after a 10 hours flight with Emirates we were picked up by Liaqat – our Pakistan friend who had organized everything for us. By taxi we drove to his apartment to get some food and sleep. Our flight to Skardu was planned for the next morning, but because of the heat and because Islamabad is not a very exciting city we didn’t plan any activities there. We just went out for dinner in the evening and got in a heavy rain which changed the streets into rivers. Back home Liaqat, his brother and some friends showed us some of their dancing skills while we were listening to Pakistani, Indian and Sufi music.
